Wanna convert video to an output video with an odd video size such as 600×600? Wanna set video frame rate to 5fps which is not listed in the drop-down list? The solution in Any DVD Converter is really simple.
Any DVD Converter gives you full control to customize video and audio paraters including frame size, video bitrate, video framerate, audio bitrate, sample rate, audio channel, etc to meet your different or special need.
Any DVD Converter is a powerful video converter as well as a DVD ripper that can rip your DVD and convert videos to proper video formats playable on iPod, iPhone, PSP, PS3, Zune, Xbox 360, iRiver, Sony Walkman, creative zen, Sansa view, other portable media players and various mobile phones including Nokia, BlackBerry, Gphone, etc. General speaking, default settings will be good enough for the protable media players and mobile phones, however, you can also select other options according to your need.
Though many common options are available, you may need to set some special parameters. It is easy in Any DVD Converter. In most cases, you can enter the value number you need. For example, current output format is Customized AVI Movie and the frame size (video size) is 320×240, you want to get an AVI movie whose video size is 300×300. Just click 320×240, you will find the mouse is blinking, delete 320 and enter 300, delete 240 and enter 300, then convert the movie and you will get a 300×300 AVI movie.

In the same way, you can set Video Bitrate, Video Framerate, Audio Bitrate as you like. However, you are trying to get a 300×300 MP4 video, you will find you are not allowed to enter numbers. You need to modify the profiles_v2.xml file.
The profiles_v2 locates in Application Data directory. By default settings of Windows, the folder is hiden. You can reach the folder directly by entering "%APPDATA% in explorer's address bar. Then open Any DVD Converter Professional folder and you will find the file. The directory in XP or Vista is listed below and the Username needs to change to your own which you use to log on Winodws.
Suppose that you need to add 300×300 as an option in frame size setting list. And we will show you how to do this by modifying the profiles_v2.xml. We recommend that you back up this xml file before modifying. The XMl file can be opened by any text editors like Notepad, NotePad++, MS Word, Dreamweaver, etc.
Run the program again, choose Customized MP4 output, click Frame Size and you will see that 300×300 has been listed as an option. In the same way, you can add Video Bitrate, Video Framerate and Audio Bitrate option as you like.
Note: if you are not clear about other parameters in the profiles_v2.xml, you'd better not modify the parameters.
If you are not using an account with Administrator privilege, when you try to run Any DVD Converter, an error dialoge saying it can not load profiles_v2.xml may pop up, and there is no profiles_v2.xml file in the directory. To solve this problem, open setup directory of Any DVD Converter, you will find there is also a profiles_v2.xml there, copy it to APPDATA folder and then everything will be OK.
This problem is caused by that Any DVD Converter is installed by a certain user but each user has his own Application Data folder.
Convert videos to MP4, AVI, 3GP for iPod, PSP and all portable players.
